MIDLAND, Texas - The Hilton Garden Inn Midland, owned by Midland Hospitality Company No. 1, LLC, and operated by Texas Western Hospitality Management, today announced that Kirk Hart has been appointed general manager of the new Hilton Garden Inn in Midland, Texas. The 157-room hotel, currently under construction, is scheduled to open in June.

As general manager, Hart will direct all areas of the hotel's operations, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts, and hotel administration.

Prior to joining the Hilton Garden Inn Midland, Hart served as general manager of the Residence Inn Pittsburgh University/Medical Center. With over 22 years in the hospitality industry, Hart has worked with major hotel brands, including Marriott and IHG, at select-service properties throughout the U.S. Additionally, Hart spent nine years as the director of openings and acquisitions with leading hotel ownership, development and management company, White Lodging.

In addition, Aileen Manuel has been named director of sales of the Hilton Garden Inn Midland. Manuel has served as director of sales and marketing at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Midland, Texas. Most recently, she was vice president of sales and marketing for Texas-based MTP Hospitality Solutions.

Situated just minutes from the Midland International Airport, Citibank Ballpark, the Childhood Home George W.
